My father, Joseph Kinsella and uncle, Leo Kinsella grew up in Tilting, Fogo Island in the thirties and forties. Over the years they wrote many lyrics, songs and poems inspired by their hometown.

Some of the songs on this album were written more than fifty years ago, only to be now paired with melodies, recorded and shared. Each and every one tells a special story. Each is inspired by life in Tilting.
